At Vapo Techniek, we care about our planet. Since our founding almost 40 years ago we have been continuously working on optimizing our business operations. This includes efforts to reduce our environmental impact.
Some concrete examples of sustainable practices at Vapo Techniek:

Substantial investments in solar panels and renewable energy.
Circularity
Recycling materials to reduce or prevent waste and wastefulness.
Logistics
Purchases according to the First In, First Out-principle for a young inventory without ‘dead stock’.
Process optimalisation
Integrating sustainability in all processes within the company, for concrete improvement of our environmental impact.
Product design
Our own line of ball valves, ‘VTB Valves’, is designed for long durability and is produced by a manufacturer that specifically works towards the SDG’s : 7.3, 13.3, 8.8 and 12.5. For storage and shipping we use FSC-certified packaging materials and a local supplier.
